Hey, Rukket Nation! Henry Fall here from the Mile Lines Golf Academy, and today, I'm diving into a crucial aspect of your swing – your golf grip. It's the vital link between you and the club, defining how well you connect and control your shots.
A proper grip begins with a solid foundation: your golf posture. Stand with a slight knee and hip bend, and let your upper spine round naturally. As your arms hang, you'll notice your hands naturally align with your target. This connection sets the stage for a strong grip.
Start with your left hand – allow it to hang naturally, placing the club in your fingers. Avoid the common mistake of gripping too much in the palm. Instead, embrace a firmer hold in the fingers for better wrist mobility.
Now, the right hand complements the club face. Visualize your hand as an extension of the club face, matching its position. Align it on the side, ensuring a snug fit in the fingers.
Remember, a quality golf grip harmonizes both hands, promoting control, accuracy, and power. Master this fundamental, and watch your game elevate to new heights!
